Babies can sleep an average of 5400 hours
Given that there are just 8760 hours in a year, this seems to be a LOT! But keep in mind that babies sleep for just a few hours at a time, particularly within the first three months. And this is just an approximation. Every kid is unique, and many don’t get the memo that they need to sleep this long (and for 8 hours at a time).
Babies rob their parents of 44 days of sleep
And that’s all in the first year. They’re lucky they’re so adorable! It’s like pulling all-nighters in college all over again, but without the partying! But hey, having a bundle of joy is very rewarding. Within families who practice co-sleeping, most children move into their own beds at their own pace by the age of three or four.
