A new journey together
As we headed home, Adam and I realized we now truly understood Jason’s struggles. This was a turning point for us. We were committed to supporting his interests and passions from this moment forward. Our son needed us, and we were ready to walk this path with him, side by side. Together, we’d find ways to help Jason balance his love for cars with the responsibilities of school. It felt like we were finally on the same journey, united and ready to move forward together.

When we finally returned home with Jason, the house felt different. Was it the new understanding we’d reached, or the warmth that came from being together as a family again?
