Calluses
Although calluses aren’t serious, they can cause discomfort or pain when pressure is applied, such as when you walk. According to recent studies, a baking soda bath can help soften your calluses if you soak them in it. Scabbing will also be removed and discomfort reduced.
Oil Or Grease Fire
Not a lot of people know that baking soda is used in some fire extinguishers. The reaction between the baking soda and the heat produces carbon dioxide, which smothers the fire. Therefore, the fire is extinguished. Sometimes, you can use baking soda to extinguish small grease and oil fires, but don’t expect it to put out large fires since bigger fires use up more oxygen, which can counter the baking soda’s effects. Call for help when you aren’t sure.
