Even though you can buy shower curtains for cheap, don’t buy a new one whenever yours gets dirty. Since they’re normally made of a really harmful material called PVC, a new one may give off fumes which can damage your health. A steaming hot shower could also increase your chances of breathing them in. You might think cleaning shower curtains is hard but it’s actually quite easy and you just need a cup of baking soda, laundry detergent, tea tree oil (10 drops should be enough to kill mold) and light-colored towels. In the washing machine, place the curtain together with the towels and the mixture. After a 40-60 laundry cycle, everything will come out much cleaner.
