Have you noticed that your clothes aren’t really smelling good after you do your laundry? Your washing machine might need some cleaning. These days, washing machines need cleaning more often, especially the front-loading models. Luckily, baking soda is perfect for cleaning the inside of your machine naturally. Start a large and hot load without clothes and then, add some vinegar and baking soda in order to remove any smelly mold and buildup.

Treat Athlete’s Foot

Medical sources have cited a study that showed baking soda comes with antifungal properties. Fungal growth was inhibited in different human nail and skin infections. To treat fungal infections between the toes or on the feet, a baking soda paste is recommended to be applied. Simply mix one tablespoon of baking soda and a little lukewarm water to make the paste, which you then rub on your infection. Rinse off and dry well. Sprinkle baby powder afterward so that your feet will remain free of moisture.
