Approach with caution
Approaching cautiously, Robert decided to accost the stranger. “Hello?” he called out, trying to sound friendly but firm. The figure turned slightly, acknowledging his presence, but remained silent. Robert took a deep breath and, with a little more determination, asked, “Were you here yesterday? Did you see what happened?” The person, now clearly a man, gave a small nod of his head. Robert felt a surge of hope. “Can you tell me anything about those objects?” he inquired, eager for any information.

Cryptic warnings
The man, however, was reticent, limiting himself to offering cryptic warnings. “They come and go,” he said quietly, without taking his eyes off the horizon. “What do you mean?” insisted Robert, frustrated. The man shook his head. “It’s not the first time. Nor will it be the last.” Robert’s frustration increased. “Can you be more specific?” Finally, the man looked at him with intensity. “Be careful. Some things are better left untouched.” Then, without another word, he turned and walked away, leaving Robert with even more questions than answers.
