The beach patrol arrived
The beach patrol soon arrived, and their vehicles pulled up on the sand. The officers jumped out of the vehicles and began to quickly set up barriers. Robert watched as they cordoned off the area and moved the swimmers away from the water. “Stay back!” one agent shouted. Their serious faces only added to the tension in the atmosphere. The beach, once a place of relaxation, now looked like a crime scene. Robert hugged Katrina, feeling unsure of what might happen next.

Leave immediately
“Everyone needs to leave now!” an officer shouted through a megaphone. “This area is off limits.” The crowd murmured, confused, but the urgency of the officers left no room for doubt. “But what’s going on?” someone shouted. “No questions, go away!” the agent replied firmly. Robert gathered his belongings and urged his children to follow him. The once crowded beach was emptying quickly, and people were walking away with anxious glances toward the cordoned-off area.
