During an official interview, Princess Beatrice of York spoke about her grandfather and got very emotional. She wiped away her tears, and explained: “Because he is the most unique person and I’m very lucky there have been so many times where I have been able to share magical moments with my grandfather.” Princess Beatrice attended the wedding with her husband and sister, Princess Eugine.

Naturally, Beatrice was not the only one to pay tribute to Prince Phillip. Her sister, Princess Eugine took to Instagram and shared the following; “I remember learning how to cook, how to paint, what to read. I remember laughing at your jokes and asking about your spectacular life and service in the navy,” she wrote. “I remember incinerating the sausages and you swooping in to save the day. I remember your hands and your laugh and your favorite beer.” “I will remember you in your children, your grandchildren, and great-grandchildren,” she continued. “Thank you for your dedication and love for us all and especially Granny, who we will look after for you.”
