Marathon Runner
Princess Beatrice was the first royal to ever have run a marathon. Back in 2010, she became the first member of the royal family to complete the London Marathon. This is something that she is highly proud of and is not ashamed to show off this achievement. She and a group of friends wore colorful tutus and legwarmers for the race to support several children’s charities including Children in Crisis, which was actually founded by her mother – The Duchess Of York.
A Woman OF Many Talents
After studying drama and film studies, Beatrice became the first member of the British Royal family to ever star in a feature film. In 2009, she had a small role in the film, Young Victoria. The film narrates the story of the early years of Queen Victoria. Bea’s mother, Sarah Ferguson was one of the producers of the movie. Although Beatrice loved her short-acting stint, the actual film was said to have upset The Queen because of its historical blunders.
