Anita Ekberg
Anita Ekberg worked on a number of European and American projects over the years. The actress is most popular for starring in La Dolce Vita. She had been modeling since she was a teen, however. In 1950, she joined the Miss Malmo pageant as well as the Miss Sweden competition. She joined Miss Universe as well despite her poor English.

Later on in life, she was given an Academy Honorary Award “in recognition of her central place in the Golden Age of motion pictures.” She used to model in a number of publications before she started acting.
