The Queen granted Duchess Kate a new title when the news came out after she and William celebrated the eighth anniversary of their wedding. The Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order was granted to her. Wow, what a prestigious title! It was interpreted by many people to mean that she did not waste much time on the unconfirmed reports.
