Laurie Metcalf is a television Royalty. She started as Jackie Harris on Roseanne in 1988 up until 1987! Metcalf thinks she is a workaholic, and what great benefit did it bring her? Numerous award nominations and wins to her name. Fruit of her hard work and talent for sure. Although her character seems to be the total opposite of her highly intelligent son, we think otherwise. Hmmm.

Roseanne and The Big Bang Theory seems to have some kind of a pact to keep their actors hand in hand as another alum makes the list. Gilbert’s Roseanne stint made her receive two Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and even got to write a fourth season episode story, wow! She also appeared on various shows like The Simpsons, 24, Will and Grace, and Private Practice, and in 2004, she had a recurring role as smart and sarcastic medical student Jane Figler in ER. On TBBT, Gilbert’s character went from the main cast member to the guest role but landed a regular spot on prime time television in the fall of 2005 in the sitcom Twins. Gilbert has been a co-host and executive producer of the talk show, The Talk.
