Phoebe Cates

The name Phoebe Cates usually brings back memories of the movies Gremlins and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. These two movies played a big part in Cates’ career as these ended up being her biggest jobs. She continued her acting career for a few years but decided to retire in the year 1994 to raise her children. Interestingly, she came back to the big screen in 2001 in the indie film The Anniversary Party to help out a friend.
