Nancy Kerrigan
Nancy Kerrigan is a former figure skater with a fascinating Olympic history. Since she’s very popular, you might know about all this already, but let’s just talk about it anyway. Kerrigan won bronze at the Winter Olympics in 1992 and silver at the World Championships in the same year. This may have already impressed you, but that’s not all – she became the US National Champion in 1993. Aside from her athletic victories, Kerrigan is also famous for a scandal in 1994 when she was brutally attacked by the ex-husband of her rival. Fortunately, Kerrigan recovered and continued her journey in the Olympics, winning silver at the Winter Olympics in 1994. Since the accident, Kerrigan continued training and even had a stint as a contestant on the 24th season of Dancing with the Stars.
