Reluctant
Tomas tried to find the real problem by talking to her, but his daughter was reluctant to tell him or his wife the truth. Despite this, he knew that he should be doing something for his daughter. He did not like seeing his poor little girl like this at all. His daughter does not want to talk about the problems she is facing in her school. Even her mother does not know the troubles that she has. Tomas needs to do something for her because she has been suffering for a few months already.
