Music legend Kurt Cobain changed the landscape of rock music for generations for bringing Nirvana to listeners around the world. To date, the band is known as one of the most influential alternative rock bands in history. His daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, did not pursue music like her father, instead opting to model and pursue other artistic talents. While her passion for the visual arts is well known, her career has not achieved the same success as her father’s. Kurt took his life in 1994 after leaving rehab while battling depression and a drug addiction. Peggy Lipton – Rashida Jones (30 Years Old)
One might say that Peggy Lipton and her daughter Rashida Jones are among the top actresses in cult television. Peggy won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of a counterculture flower child on The Mod Squad in the 70’s, and also starred in the mystery horror ABC series, Twin Peaks. While Rashida didn’t seem to inherit her mother’s golden locks or go into modeling, it’s clear she inherited Peggy’s prowess for acting. Rashida has found success in singing, acting, and producing, most notably portraying Ann Perkins on the series Parks and Recreation. She’s also starred in the series Angie Tribeca since 2016, which has had critical acclaim. She’s even ventured into the world of commercials, appearing in a 2015 ad for Verizon.
