It’s hard to challenge the acting powerhouse that produced Billie Lourd. Her grandmother was the ever prolific Debbie Reynolds, who in 2015 received the pinnacle of achievements, the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award (among a multitude of other awards). As if that didn’t set the foundation for Billie Lourd’s success well enough, her mother was Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films. In a tragic loss to Billie, both Debbie and Carrie died within a day of each other in December, 2016. Despite these life changing odds, Billie Lourd has been slowly building her fan base as an actress, playing characters in films such as Scream Queens and American Horror Story: Cult.

Lauryn Hill is a legendary hip-hop goddess and definitely on the top of any astute critic’s best singers list. She is a former member of the Fugees, a group that’s had multi-platinum success from their album The Score. Now, at 42 years old, Lauryn doesn’t seem to have aged a bit, and her teenage son John seems to have inherited many of her best features. Though still young, John hasn’t earned the attention of modeling agents or music fans like many other celebrity children, but he still has some time. At 15 years old, we’ll give John a few more years before he makes the step into the celebrity spotlight like his singing powerhouse mother. Will he be able to beat his mother’s 8 Grammy nominations and five Grammy awards? We’re thinking he will do that and achieve so much more.
