Plenty of people grew up hearing and reading the stories of Roald Dahl. The man had some excellent story-telling skills, that much is true. His granddaughter Sophie Dahl is actually a model! The size 14 model might be bigger than most ladies in the industry, though she continues to excel in the field. There must a lot of challenges in her way, though we are sure she is making a positive impact on such a homogeneous field. Oh, and let’s not forget that she was the inspiration for the character ‘Sophie’ in The BFG!

If you watch French films, you might have even seen her in the 2001 film The Blue Island. She takes after her ‘pretty boy’ grandfather, Alain Delon. You can now see where she inherited her dark good looks from, right? She is making waves in the French movie industry and we can only hope that she turns out to be as successful as her grandpa!
