The flight attendants were giggling and covering their faces with their hands. This was clearly not a standard part of the procedure. Jessica despised the feeling of being in the dark. When she stepped out in uniform, she didn’t mind the whispers and stares, but this was different. Despite her decision to look past it, she remained on edge the entire time.
