1916 Autocar

This 1916 vehicle has its own spot in the “Steam Room” of Big Dog Garage. It is made with a hand crank and has a top speed of 22 mph. Leno has said that it was “vital” in the early 20th century since it was used to transport coal in the winter. If you have not heard of the Autocar Company, it was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1897. Back then, it manufactured “severe-duty” vocational trucks that were made to transport things such as rubber, lumber, and coal. Fun fact: Autocar is the oldest automaker in the Western Hemisphere. This unit was originally sold at $553.37. Its value has since gone up to $2,373.

2006 EcoJet

Here is a concept car that resulted from a collaboration among Jay Leno, Alcoa, BASF, General Motors, and Honeywell. The 2006 EcoJet is equipped with a Honeywell LTS101 gas turbine, which is used in helicopters. The transaxle, on the other hand, is from a C5 Corvette. This car was designed to run exclusively on biodiesel fuel to make it eco-friendly. In this case, it uses refined cooking oil. Jay Leno has admitted that it smells like you are cooking fries when you drive the car! Aside from appearing in auto shows, the concept car was supposed to be a daily driver. Originally priced at $2 million, it is now worth six times that.
