Emily had heard tales about challenging mothers-in-law all her life. However, she was unprepared for the tempest that swept into her life when she married Daniel. Her mother-in-law, Mrs. Johanna Thomspon, was obviously against their relationship from the beginning. She went one step farther and began disparaging Emily all the time and blaming her for each small annoyance. However, Mrs. Thompson eventually lost it and insisted that Emily get a divorce from her cherished son.

Emily Couldn’t Divorce her Husband
Emily responded, “I can’t do that,” as her palm automatically went to her stomach. She was expecting their first child, and Johanna’s mischievous behavior was definitely not healthy for her unborn kid. She refused to let the tension this lady caused her to control her. Johanna essentially said, “You have to, I DEMAND, you divorce my sweet precious boy.” It was enough.
