The Imagination Library
Dolly started a book distribution company called, “The Imagination Library.” She was apparently driven to have this project because of her father’s illiteracy. Her effort started in 1995 and books were given to children below 5 years old. The aim is to introduce the amazing world of reading to young children, so in turn would start a habit for life.

Dolly Parton is actually a successful entrepreneur. In the early stages of her career, she started Velvel Apple Music. It gave her the freedom to own and release all of her songs without anyone else’s help. In addition, she also started her own record label in 2007. She was the only one on the label, at first and she did her branding by herself. Great job, Dolly!
