There were countless questions that ran on Lily Powles’ mind. The woman wondered if the man was doing it on purpose. Lily was also curious why the man offered to buy her a drink if he had wanted to have both of the drinks for himself. Lily Powles had not touched her drink, and she decided to send a message to her friends again. The first wave of the clubgoers had already left, but there were some patrons to whom the night had just started.

Lily Powles kept glancing nervously at the entrance. Finally, the woman was relieved to see that her friends already walked through the door. Lily Powles stood up to raise her hand. In this method, it would be easier for her friends to find her in the crowd of people. And when Lily looked down at the wooden bar, she noticed that the man had swiftly moved her drink once again.
