Unapproved transactions
A hasty, unauthorized transaction without any discussion or approval. Suddenly, thirty-five thousand dollars was taken out. It made me feel even more indignant. The guy I trusted, my husband, had stolen something valuable to cover his mother’s conceit. She now has a clown-like appearance! Her makeover came to represent all that was wrong with our lives. How someone could be so irresponsible with something that wasn’t theirs in the first place was beyond me. That money wasn’t for her ego; it was for our future.

The world owed his mother, who had always been entitled. However, this? This was a whole other level. I couldn’t ignore the fact that she was using my fortune to satisfy her cosmetic obsession.
