The nerds were depicted as awkward males who couldn’t talk to ladies on the show. One of them seemed to have had a girlfriend at that time. Furthermore, the producers supposedly employed actors to portray a number of the competitors on the show. That was just not true.

We want you to understand that the first season was genuine before we continue. But for the one who came after it, this cannot be true. The creators had created false circumstances for the second season as viewers already heard about transition by then.
