The drama among the parents has a tendency to overshadow everything else on the show. Yes, even the dancing!

Even though the majority of the show is rooted in reality, the youngest son in the family has once said that the “producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points.” Even though this does not mean that it is totally fake, it does make the show scripted. At the very best, it is unnatural.
