You must have been living underneath a rock if you are not familiar with Bellatrix Lestrange. She is easily one of the evilest characters in the series. As a matter of fact, she has probably gone down in the wizarding world as one of the most ruthless witches ever. It makes sense that she is the closest confidante of Lord Voldemort himself. We met her while she was locked up in Azkaban, but she was able to escape with the help of her Dementor friends. She was the stuff of nightmares when we were kids.
