The Fat Lady is the portrait that guards the Gryffindor common room in Hogwarts. She ensures that only Gryffindors can enter the dorms by making them repeat a password. This way, no one else can enter and cause any trouble! This was her job, but Sirius Black threatened her until she let him get into the common room in the third installment of the series. Well, she is not going to get a raise in the near future.

She only appeared in one Harry Potter movie, but she is popular for her work as half of a comedy duo called French & Saunders. She also played Geraldine Granger in The Vicar of Dibley. This talented woman has received nominations for the British Comedy Awards, the BAFTAs, and the National Television Awards in the past. She continues to be busy on the stage and as the presenter of a kiddie talent show called Little Big Shots.
