While Andre was filming The Princess Bride, he got a special visit. WWE boss, Vince McMahon flew all the way to England to visit Andre and to convince him to wrestle Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania III.

His Roots
While he wasn’t wrestling, Andre loved riding his ATV as well as raising cattle on a ranch in North Carolina. He didn’t want to leave his farming roots behind, even once he became a famous wrestler.
