Savage said, “Andre’s gimmick is being a giant and mine is baby oil.” His refusal to stop using baby oil even affected their relationship outside the ring, and Randy Savage became one of Andre the Giant’s biggest enemy even though Andre had very few enemies in real life. He Could Drink Over 7,000 Calories Per Day
Olympic powerlifter Terry Todd often went for drinks with Andre the Giant, and the former said he learned early on that matching drinks with the legendary wrestler was impossible. Todd witnessed Andre regularly consume over 7,000 calories of alcohol in a day. In 1981, Todd said that Andre the Giant drank a whole case of beer on a typical day and would then wash it with two bottles of wine. Andre would consume a maximum of eight shots of brandy for dessert and when it was time for his second dessert, he would have a minimum of six mixed drinks. However, the reason that Andre drank so much is actually heartbreaking.
