Sure, everyone hates traffic, but did you ever think about the amount of noise traffic makes? Particularly in L.A., the traffic can be crazy and extremely loud! Well, the heavy traffic in the city turned out to be quite a challenge for Gilligan’s Island at times when they did some filming at the show’s L.A. lot. For them to avoid including in their recording any traffic noise from the highway nearby, they did their best to film lagoon scenes the fastest possible way they could! How difficult this must have been!

It was unfortunate but Dawn Wells just didn’t have the aptitude for singing. This became sort of a concern at the time when the whole cast was expected to perform a song together. Therefore, she improvised then and there and managed to do some lip syncing to the song to avoid ruining the harmony. There are people who say she ought to have taken lessons in singing, but what Wells did appears to have worked fine!
