Luckily, everyone still loves and adores Gilligan’s Island, but that’s thanks to all the reruns. The reruns allowed Gilligan’s Island to accumulate more fans for over 50 years. Now, the best part of this success is knowing how wrong producers were back when Gilligan’s Island came out. They didn’t think that reruns would ever run when they started the first season. Could they have been more wrong?
