Plastic Covered
We appreciate the desire to extend the life of our couches, but we would not advise covering them with plastic coverings to keep them safe. Even if it was in perfect condition, it would be unappealing. We should consider taking a minor risk in order to avoid making our couches look unsightly and to allow our sofas to be freely seated. We could conceal the weak areas, and everyone would be pleased with the result.

Showing Off Your Pickle Jars
We should be honest and admit that the pickle jars have been sitting on top of our cabinets for years, possibly even before the younger children were born. We would strongly advise removing this form of home décor and storing the pickle jars in the pantry, where they would be hidden.
