A Suspicious Excuse
Madelyn appeared a little agitated when I entered, which wasn’t typical of her. “Oh, hello! She nearly stumbled over her own words as she said. I assumed that the statement, “I was just grabbing some cleaning supplies from the garage,” was a plausible one. However, the unease was not ignored. She appeared to have been caught doing something improper because her cheeks were slightly flushed. Everything was highly suspicious.
