He went to Charles, the veterinarian. Charles was a favorite vet at the zoo. Almost single animal adored this veterinarian since he was so gentle with them all. Rick wanted to run a DNA test to see where this baby originated from. He may have imagined it was from Konko. That would make the most sense.

Needle doesn’t work
Charles was about to perform the DNA test. He grabbed the needle to draw blood and placed it on the monkey, but the needle broke immediately after attempting to press it into the animal’s skin. This was weird, so Charles tried again with a larger needle.
