Even though the price was exorbitant, he became even more irate upon learning that it was his mother’s recipe. For weeks, the man had been nervous. He had been married for a little more than three months and loved his wife dearly, considering her to be the greatest thing that had ever happened to him. He loved their life together and was prepared to offer her anything she wanted. But every time his mother came around for supper, something unsettling changed. After first refusing to consume his mother’s food, his wife eventually decided to either throw the food out completely or donate it to a nearby shelter.
