The whole world was surprised by what Prince Charles did in 2005. The Prince of Wales announced that he and Camilla were starting to stay in touch and settle their difference. Not only that, but they also announced their plans of getting married. Everyone could not believe the announcement that was made, and if the news shocked the world, how much more was the family shocked? Whether they liked it or not, Princes Harry and William would soon have a new stepmom.

The whole world was not easy with Charles’ decision, because in their eyes, Princess Diana is the one and only Princess of Wales, she is an icon and a role model for them. The fact that Camilla would try to replace Diana seemed to put everyone off. Charles was a bit happy, though, and the Princes Harry and William did their best to support their new stepmother’s relationship with their father. Camilla also did her best to keep the family united.
