Andy Was A Proud Southern Person
There are a lot of phrases and words that Southern people use, and those really are a huge part of their identity. Well, being the proud Southern person that he had always been, Andy Griffith did not hesitate to use phrases such as “Tick a lock”, “Nary a thing”, and “That’s the time” in the show. Lots of his supporters loved that about him because by saying those phrases, he succeeded in promoting his culture to the world.
Writers Kept On Clashing
Yes, two (or even more) brains are truly better than one, but sometimes, when a lot of people are working for a single project, it is not avoidable to keep away from crashing ideas altogether. A great example is a thing that happened in The Andy Griffith Show – Barney Fife had different middle names all throughout the whole show. There would be no one else to blame but the writers. Maybe because the show had different writers, they accidentally mixed the names up or just forgot what they originally were.
