One of Knotts’ co-star in Three’s Company, Suzanne Somers, had a problem with the producers of the show as they didn’t agree to increase the salary that the actress had always been asking for. With that being said, the actress did a little “boycott” and did not show up for a long time during the show’s filming. Well, thanks to Don Knotts, he volunteered to recite the actress’ lines whenever her appearance was needed – that was how the show went on until the producers came into an agreement with Somers.
