Soon after the revelations were made public, Scurtis travelled to Paris and informed People Magazine that the Madonna affair had been the “last straw.” Everything came to an end as a result of the divorce. Madonna was also married at the time, however she has always maintained that she has had no extramarital relationships.

Although he was dating actress Elizabeth Hurley at the time, he was apprehended having sexual relations with a sex worker in the backseat of his car and detained for several hours. This apparently occurred in 1995, when he allegedly spent $60 for oral sex with a female companion. Despite several attempts to reconcile and move forward, the couple ended up divorcing permanently five years later. The good news is that Grant and Hurley have remained friends since then, and each of their children has a godparent who is related to the other.
