Manson first met Evan Rachel Wood when she was only 18 years old, and the two became fast friends. She and Manson began dating despite the fact that Manson was married to Dita Von Teese at the time, and they remained together following Manson’s divorce. They were eventually engaged, but they decided to call off the wedding before it could take place. Wood said to Rolling Stone that she hadn’t quite sorted herself out at the time of the breakup, which contributed to the breakdown of the relationship.
