UMA THURMAN
She might have made a name for herself as a leading lady, but Uma Thurman did not start out as an actress. When she was 15 years old, she started to model. The credit goes to her mom Nena von Schlebrügge, who was a model herself. Thurman graced the pages of Glamour and Vogue within a year. In 1987, she discovered acting and debuted in a thriller called Kiss Daddy Goodnight. The year after that, she left prep school so that she could focus on her career some more. It was clear that she was full of talent even when she was still just starting out. She earned A-list status when she appeared in Pulp Fiction. After that, she and filmmaker Quentin Tarantino also worked on the Kill Bill duology. As we all know, it was also received well by the critics and the viewers.
