Well-known nowadays for her role as Gloria on the popular “Modern Family”, Sofia Vergara began here career as a model in 1989. She was scouted while walking along a Colombian beach. A 17 year old pursuing a career in dentistry, she swiftly dropped out and set foot on the journey to becoming something big in the entertainment industry. We are certainly glad that her career took her to where she did, we love seeing her on our screens. As well as hosting and television, she has also had various roles on the big screen, roles in “Four Brothers” and “Hot Pursuit”. The Colombian actress may well have been a great model, but we feel she is better for the screen.

Now a world famous country singer, Swift began her career in modelling! In 2003 she posed for an advert which may have even foreshadowed her future career as a singer-songwriter. Holding a guitar, she posed for an Abercrombie and Fitch advert. Having sold over 200 million records across the globe, Swift is up there with the best-selling musicians of all time. As far as acting goes, she has had minimal roles. Despite this, she has appeared in “Hannah Montana: The Movie”, “Valentines Day” and a documentary-film following her tour, “The 1989 World Tour Live”. We wouldn’t be surprised to see her in more acting roles in the future.
