Since launching in 2007, Netflix has become an online force to reckoned with, especially in the competitive world of streaming networks and cable TV. Nevertheless, to maintain its competitive edge and ensure that fresh new content keeps flowing seamlessly, Netflix has had to make some tough decisions and remove some of its TV shows and movies. There could be multiple reasons why Netflix would cancel TV shows, from poor ratings to the natural season finale of a popular series. It was first brought to life by the AMC production company, and then later revived by Netflix who produced more episodes. Even though the show has come to its natural end, the producers are still satisfied that they have left fans with a proper conclusion. The showrunner, Veena Sud said: “After coming back from the dead twice, it feels like a victory lap, not only were we able to come back twice, but this final season is how I wanted to end the story of Sarah Linden from the very beginning.”

When Netflix decided to cut Sense8, it was already a huge hit with fans. So much so, that its fans started a campaign to protest its cancellation. Since the audience response was so heated, the producers at Netflix ultimately decided to bring it back. This wasn’t for good, but an extended two -hour final episode. That way they could give fans a season finale they needed. The creator of the show was very touched, and tweeted, “Your love has brought Sense8 back to life. (I could kiss every single one of you!)”.

In 2018 Netflix canceled the show Seven Seconds after just one season. Nevertheless, they were careful to ensure fans got the closure they needed as the show was only supposed to be a standalone story. The plot centered on the unexplained death of an African American boy, and audiences were gripped throughout.
