Before he moved back to the USA to pursue acting, Steven Seagal was a martial arts instructor in Japan. He went into law enforcement after retiring from acting. He was the Deputy Sheriff of the Reserve for the Lousiana Police Department. Did you know that Steven Seagal is a 7th-dan black belt in Aikido? Pretty cool, right?
