Tommy Rettig
Of course, Tommy is renowned for being Lassie’s best friend. He also co-starred with another former child actor, Tony Dow, in the mid-1960s television teen soap opera Never Too Young and recorded the song by that title with the group, The TR-4. He pursued some other acting projects after the show wrapped, but he was unsatisfied. He became a software engineer and worked until his death in 1996, working with computers.
