Speed was the key factor when they rushed towards the emergency location. The Colorado Spring Fire Department had a massive team available to respond to many different locations across the city. They boasted that they were the fastest team that could arrive 90% of the time within 8 minutes.

At any minute, a fire could start in different locations at once. And each scene could be having different intensities of flames. For this reason, the Colorado Spring Fire Department gathered different equipment for every scenario. They currently had 11 brush trucks for wildland fires, 1 air supply truck, 1 hazardous-materials decontamination vehicle, and, last but not the least, 1 hose wagon.
