During her time in the spotlight, rumors circulated that Nadya was abusing her children. It made sense because being a single parent of 14 children must be difficult, and it must take a lot of effort to meet all of the children’s needs. Child Protective Services was even called in to investigate the situation. They investigated whether it was correct that Nadya was neglecting her children. Still, when they visited her home, they found no evidence of neglect and concluded that the allegations were false – they even assumed that her home was appropriate for children.

Unfortunately, given what Child Protective Services said, another person with real authority over Nadya’s life completely disagreed that her home was ideal for her children. Her landlord can’t stand the idea and told Nadya that she had broken her lease terms. Furthermore, he informed the press about Nadya’s situation before evicting her and her 14 children. Nadya simply wanted to be a good mother to her children, but they were on the verge of becoming homeless, so she took drastic measures.
