Born in Washington, Julie Gibson is recognized for her great singing and acting throughout the 1940s. She started her professional career performing with Jimmie Grier Orchestra. She eventually joined Joe Penner’s radio show’s cast. Her first movie performances had been in minor roles, however she made her way in movies like Chick Carter and Detective over time.
