Emily began creating invites for a big occasion when she and her mother sat at the desk in the hotel room. Naturally, Derek and the other guests were unaware that it was all a hoax. Curiosity was piqued by the sophisticated yet ambiguous invites. Emily had a mixture of anxiety and excitement as she closed each packet. This was the first step in implementing her strategy.

Emily recorded every reaction because she needed as many people to see her idea as possible. Every time a fresh confirmation arrived, she couldn’t help but smile. Every player was present, and the stage was prepared.
